We are recognised in the Middle East as an MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) Specialist. The company was founded in 2006 and are lead by the managing partners Niklas Nielsen and Joakim Fagerbakk who was behind the successful launch and operation of one of the very first MVNOs in Middle East, Renna Mobile in Oman. Mecom is also one of the shareholders. Renna Mobile was launched in 2009 and broke even as the first MVNO in Middle East in June 2011. In parallel with the expansion of its MVNO activities to other countries in Middle East and surrounding regions, Mecom’s activities have grown in to other areas including: Telecom & Internet Medico Oil and Gas Within these industries Mecom provide: Consultancy, ranging from advisory to complex project management Sourcing, ranging from technology to human resources Structuring of Joint Ventures & Partnerships Investment management Furthermore, Mecom have taken active ownership in a number of leading companies across these industries, providing it with a unique position to create synergies between its clients and operations.
